Patience among Americans

A recent Associated Press study attempted to gauge the level of patience among Americans. The study found that the average time people will wait in line before leaving is 17 minutes and the average time they will wait on the phone before hanging up is 9 minutes. On average, women were found to be more patient than men, while suburban residents tended to be more patient than urban residents.
